The concept of Sustainable Mobility encompasses different dimensions of METRO’s development. One of them is Social Inclusion Management, with which the Company aims to ensure that the disadvantaged populations have equal access to the service, thereby promoting social equality. Furthermore, the Company provides guaranteed accessibility to persons with reduced mobility or limited communication.
Regarding infrastructure, all stations are accessible and, depending on each station’s architecture, they have elevators, hydraulic platforms, escalators, and ischiatic supports. Likewise, each station has public telephones installed low for short persons.
