  • The positive national and international impact of introducing sustainable mobility technologies for passenger transportation (urban trains, cable cars, BRT systems and streetcars), operated by METRO as part of the integrated mass passenger transit system, has aroused the interest of many entities and cities seeking to become familiar with the methodology implemented by METRO that turned those projects into actions for the integral development and social value of the communities, especially for communities with unsatisfied basic needs that could benefit from the direct influence of mass transit systems.
  • METRO’s experience in social management has become a theoretical practical reference for the construction of new participation and appropriation models for future community spaces aimed at public benefit. From the moment the new mobility projects are drafted and the complimentary civil works for the mass passenger transit system are planned, the idea of company – community shared responsibility that will contribute to the city’s growth is born.
