Certification

Standards

In the year 2000, Metro de Medellin’s quality management system was certified in compliance with NTC-ISO 9002:1994, the international standard for metro type mass transit service. This confirms our commitment to quality service.

This certification establishes Metro de Medellin at the height of the most important mass transit systems in the world and also makes possible one of our corporate goals – to be a world-class organization. The certification was maintained in the years that followed, broadening its scope to aerial cable transportation systems and achieving certification for our environmental, security and occupational health management systems.

Benefits of the Quality Management System:
•         With a focus on the customer, Metro de Medellin strives to satisfy the needs of its clients in terms of speed, comfort, security, appearance, information, and economy.

•         Committed to producing results and suppliers that provide high caliber services and products.

•         Strengthening of its documentary base –  structured with an ability to respond to the changing climate, supported by a process approach and continuous improvement.

•         Reaffirmation of Metro de Medellin’s high caliber transit service: quality of life for the community and civic cohabitation.
